Its important for us, and you to positively identify the species of the animal that is causing the damage on your property so we can be sure we are targeting that animal legally. There are many places we remove nuisance animals, truth be told there is almost no place we haven’t removed pest animals from.

Common Nuisance Animals
American Crow
Crows are a large, completely black, bird commonly pest crows found throughout New York. They are extremely intelligent and will eat nearly anything!
They are often associated with being a nuisance bird for their large winter roosts in rural areas (Noise and mess, dropping accumulation under winter roosts can encourage histoplasmosis fungus). They are also responsible for damage to a wide array of crops including the following: Mellons, apples, cherries, blueberries, grapes, corn, sunflowers, sorghum, other grains and more.

Canada Geese
The Canada Goose is one of the largest native wild waterfowl species in New York. And there are big problems with geese. It is easily recognized by its black head, bill, and neck that contrast
with a pale gray breast. Canada geese are found in a variety of habitats that are located near any and all water bodies, Geese also are attracted to open grassy areas like lawns, parks, golf courses, athletic fields, and airports, as well as agricultural fields and farms. Federally protected, cases of problem geese removal, the landowner needs a USDA federal depreciation permit if hunted out of season.

Chipmunks
Chipmunks are found all over NY State especially in the southern tier. It is a small rodent like.
It has reddish-brown fur on its upper body and five dark brown stripes contrasting with light brown stripes along its back. They will be seen everywhere form wooded areas and urban parks and suburban neighborhoods. They can cause a lot of damage, being a small rodent they cause issues similar to rat and mouse damage

Coyote
Coyotes look like small dogs. They have erect pointed ears, slender muzzle and a bushy tail.
Most coyotes are brownish gray in color with a light gray to cream colored belly. Coyotes weigh between 20 to 50 pounds. Being omnivores coyotes eat both meat and plants. They have learned to live in suburbs and cities. Coyotes are most active at night and during early morning hours. they can cause many problems with pets and small children that require quick removal of coyotes

Fox
Fox occur over most of North America. It has an elongated muzzle, pointed ears, and a white underside. Red foxes weigh between 7 and 15 pounds.
Foxes commonly live in close association with human residences and communities. They frequently inhabit yards, parks, and golf courses, especially areas that adjoin suitable, undeveloped habitat. Foxes will eat fruits, animals small live stock and can carry disease creating lots of animal problems.
Grey Squirrels
Gray squirrels are a rodent tree squirrel native to eastern North America. Nuisance Grey Squirrels are predominantly gray, they can be white brown or black.
Generally they are about 1 foot in length and weigh about 1 lb. Squirrels can cause death damage to many types of trees, eat a wide variety of crops (Vegetables, Fruit & Grains) and damage buildings through forced entry, displacing materials for nesting and causing fire hazards.

Opossum
Virginia opossum is the only marsupial found north of Mexico and is typically referred to simply as a possum. Their unspecialized biology,
flexible diet, and reproductive habits make them successful colonizers and survivors in diverse locations and conditions. They can enter buildings for nesting and cause damage, destroy landscaping and carry a disease that will infect livestock. Don’t wait for opossum damage before you deal with the problem animals.
Pigeons
Pigeons vary in color, generally they have dark bluish-grey head, neck and chest with glossy greenish and reddish-purple iridescence around the neck.
They have become adapted to urban life, and are abundant in towns and cities throughout much of the world. Pigeons breed up to six times per year. Due to their abilities to create large amounts of excrement and to carry disease, combined with crop and property damage, pigeons are largely considered a nuisance and an invasive species.

Porcupine
North American porcupine, is a large rodent in the with coats of sharp spines, or quills, that protect them against predators.
They live in wooded areas and can climb trees. Porcupines occur in various shades of brown, grey and white. Most of the damage caused by Porcupines is to trees but they can also damage buildings tools and even car hoses making nuisance porcupines a threat to almost everyone.

Rabbits
Cottontail rabbits are common in New York. They breed four to five litters each year. Primarily brown in color with have stub tails with white undersides.
Rabbits prefer brushy cover interspersed with open areas of grasses and broad-leaved plants. Aside from carrying disease such as Lyme and Tularemia pest & nuisance rabbits can cause problems every season of the year. Rabbits eat flowers and vegetables in spring and summer. In fall and winter, they damage and kill valuable woody plants

Raccoons
Raccoons are a medium-sized mammal that have a body length of around 20 inches and weigh 15-20 lbs.

Skunk
Skunks inhabit most of North America. They generally consist of a black base with a white stripe extending from the head which divides along the
shoulders, to the tail. They can also carry diseases harmful to humans and other animals. they cause damage by burrowing and nesting, and will eat and damage example, corn, fruit, vegetables and take poultry or eggs, or damage beehives. Starlings
Common Starling, is a medium-sized bird it has glossy black plumage with a metallic sheen, which is speckled with white at some times of year.
The legs are pink and the bill is black in winter and yellow in summer; This species is omnivorous, taking a wide range of invertebrates, as well as seeds and fruit. Because it flocks in extremely large numbers it is a noisy bird, which can be a very big problem needing starlings removed efficiently.

White-tailed Deer
White-tailed deer are a large game mammal, ranging in size from 50-200 lbs. fawns as young as 6 months can begin breeding.
White-tailed deer are herbivorous browsers, feeding on virtually every part of many different plant species. Agricultural and horticultural practices created a constant supply of high quality food resources for deer, lowered natural mortality rates have all led to deer problems. Woodchucks & Groundhogs
Groundhog, are rodents. They measure 16-27 inches from nose to tail-tip and weigh 5-10 lbs. Their tail is short relative to their body size.
Woodchucks are brown overall. They are expansive burrowers. They are shy and usually will retreat into a den if approached, but if they are cornered or feel threatened they may become aggressive. Because they cause a lot of damage its important to remove nuisance woodchucks quickly.
